The Vixen modular floodlight combines high output with exceptional optical flexibility in a simple, scalable format. Individually adjustable Power Modules and multiple lens options allow wide and narrow beam distributions to be combined from a single mounting position, simplifying lighting across complex sites.
The modular system provides up to 180 W and 27,300 lm per block, with six standard configurations from 180–900 W. Output can be adjusted between standard power ratings to suit custom requirements.
From correctional facilities requiring dual-step lux levels to high-mast and sports lighting, Vixen delivers a flexible solution for complex sites from a single product family.

High Performance Modules
Viper modules are conservatively rated to match power and thermal performance to the application. Operating power can be de-rated from 250 W to 200 W or 180 W to suit extended duty cycles and ambient conditions, maximising reliability and service life.

Light on Demand
For correctional and security applications, Vixen can operate at a reduced normal lighting level, increasing output or activating additional Power Modules during a security event.
Activated manually or by sensor detection, this provides additional illumination when required while reducing the operating hours and electrical load of additional modules during normal operation, extending system service life.
High-Performance Optics
Vixen features individual Krystal-PC™ optics, with a dedicated precision lens for each high-performance LED, fused into a single UV-stabilised, high-impact polycarbonate assembly.
This combines the performance of individual precision lenses with the durability and environmental protection of a single integrated lens assembly.

Glare and Spill-Light Control
Optional shielding hoods can be fitted to individual Power Modules to reduce glare and unwanted spill beyond the target area. Combined with independently adjustable modules and precision optics, they provide additional control for sensitive boundaries, neighbouring properties and tightly defined illumination.
Multiple Lens Options
With Independent Targeting
A range of narrow and wide beam optics combined with independent adjustment of each Power Module allows light to be precisely targeted across different areas from a single mounting position. Each module can be individually angled and securely locked in position.
Use our custom specification service to combine lens options and aiming angles where mounting points are limited, complex distributions are required, or to reduce luminaire numbers and simplify the electrical installation.

7.5° angle markings on each Power Module, with optional digital gauge for precise targeting.
Multi-Layer Ingress Protection.
A one-piece custom-cast EPDM gasket provides a flexible seal between the lens assembly and heatsink. Stainless-steel machine screws apply even compression across the gasket, maintaining a consistent weatherproof seal.
Following reflow soldering, the PCB and LEDs receive a protective conformal coating, providing an additional barrier against moisture and chemical exposure and increasing resilience in harsh environments.
Remote or Luminaire Mount Drivers
Vixen is available with heatsink-mounted (HM) or remote-mounted (RM) drivers, with remote mounting reducing luminaire weight by up to 4.5 kg. Drivers can be located within the pole, in an external cabinet or, subject to specification, up to 300 m from the luminaire.
Remote mounting provides flexibility for centralised power distribution and accessible servicing, or allows drivers to be removed from elevated ambient temperatures to support longer service life.
Industrial-Grade Drivers as Standard
Vixen uses isolated IP66/IP67 drivers, de-rated to 80% of maximum output, with Class I, Division 2 hazardous-location options.
Conservative operation that reduces component stress and supports long-term reliability and service life.
Built-in protection with automatic recovery protects the driver and LED system against abnormal operating conditions, including:

Surge Protection [DM 6 kV, CM 10 kV]
Professional Sports & Television Broadcast Lighting
Flicker-free drivers are standard, with dedicated sports-lighting options for professional venues and television broadcast applications. High-power three-channel drivers allow individual Power Modules to be independently programmed and controlled, with DALI-2, D4i and DMX-RDM supporting precision dimming, dynamic event lighting and strobe operation up to 33 Hz.
Remote drivers can be installed up to 300 m from the luminaire, while high-CRI LED options and individually targeted optics allow Vixen to be specified around the illumination, colour rendering and broadcast requirements of each venue.
Three Mounting Options
Three standard mounting options suit different structures and applications. The standard bracket mount (1) provides fixed luminaire angles in 22.5° increments, with further independent adjustment at each Power Module. Articulated Pelmet (2) and Pole (3) mounts provide greater positioning freedom for installation to poles, walls and other structures.
For larger or more complex installations, Isollux provides engineering support for custom mounting assemblies, including multi-luminaire configurations for sports facilities, ports, mines, airports, correctional facilities and military applications.
