VIPER | Modular Floodlight
Viper is a scalable modular LED floodlight engineered for precise optical control, long-term reliability and consistent performance across a wide range of outdoor applications.
Built around a 180 W power module delivering up to 28,000 lumens (CRI 85), Viper combines conservative operation with precision lens options to accurately place light where required.
Five standard configurations from 180 W to 900 W cover applications from local sports facilities to major infrastructure, with lower-output options available to suit mounting height and project requirements.

High Performance Modules
Viper modules are conservatively rated to match power and thermal performance to the application. Operating power can be de-rated from 250 W to 200 W or 180 W to suit extended duty cycles and ambient conditions, maximising reliability and service life.

Modular System
Viper’s modular system allows output and power to be increased by adding additional modules.
Drivers can be heatsink or remotely mounted to reduce pole loading, manage high ambient conditions or improve maintenance access.

Professional Sports & Television Broadcast Lighting
Flicker-free drivers are standard, with dedicated sports-lighting options for professional venues and television broadcast applications. High-power three-channel drivers allow individual Power Modules to be independently programmed and controlled, with DALI-2, D4i and DMX-RDM supporting precision dimming, dynamic event lighting and strobe operation up to 33 Hz.
Remote drivers can be installed up to 300 m from the luminaire, while high-CRI LED options and individually targeted optics allow Vixen to be specified around the illumination, colour rendering and broadcast requirements of each venue.
Six Standard Lenses
Available with six precision lenses: three asymmetric forward-throw optics for wide-area illumination and three symmetrical flood optics, including narrow-beam options for long-throw applications.
Minimising Spill Light and Glare
Viper precision optics direct light only where required, minimising glare, spill and upward light where nuisance lighting must be carefully controlled to meet planning, environmental and aviation requirements, including CASA Guideline 5.1.4 Zone A.
CASA Compliance
CASA Guideline 5.1.4 limits external lighting around airports to minimise pilot distraction. Zone A, the most stringent control zone, requires 0 cd at 3° or more above the horizontal.

Adjustable Mounts
Viper’s adjustable mounting system provides strength and stability across a wide range of aiming angles, with braced mounting arms supporting larger luminaire configurations.
Precision Targeting & Commissioning
Viper incorporates permanently marked horizontal and vertical scales with 5° increments, allowing accurate alignment to within ±2.5°. An optional laser targeting system provides precise spot placement for long-throw applications, while lock nuts secure and preserve the final position.
Single and dual-module luminaires have simple toothed gears for positive, repeatable adjustment and secure locking.

Fully Moulded & Framed IP66 Gasket Seal
A fully moulded compression gasket is positively retained within the cast aluminium frame, sealing the PMMA optic and tempered glass cover to provide IP66 ingress protection and a gas-tight LED enclosure.
Remote Driver Options
Viper’s modular design makes integrated drivers the simplest solution for most applications, simplifying servicing, future upgrades and configuration changes.
Where pole loading, maintenance access or elevated ambient temperatures are a consideration, remote drivers can be located within the pole or in an external cabinet.
This reduces luminaire weight, improves service access and limits driver thermal exposure to support long-term reliability.
