A single highbay solution for all applications.

The modular platform supports suspended, surface, beam-mounted and bespoke custom installation solutions, while maintaining a consistent visual appearance across an entire project. Colour rendering is available from CRI 85–97, with Ambrite™ for photosensitive applications. The PowerBay range is compatible with DALI, wireless and BMS control systems, or can be specified as a simple switched solution.

Flexible configurations and adaptive optics

Adaptive optics, interchangeable reflectors and a wide range of specialist lenses support precise specification while allowing the luminaire to adapt to changes in operational requirements. Options include narrow aisle distributions for warehousing, high-intensity optics for extreme mounting heights, and low-glare frosted lenses for high-lux applications at lower mounting heights.

With IP66 optical assemblies, multiple on-board protection systems and a fully field-serviceable gear tray, PowerBay has become a trusted choice for industrial and infrastructure projects. Adjust the Length or Number of PowerBars

By adjusting the number and length of the PowerBars from 2–12 at 750 mm, 1200 mm and 1500 mm, system efficacy is maintained at up to 840 W across all ambient temperatures while ensuring the LEDs operate with optimum reliability for a minimum 10-year service life.

With food-grade, impact resistant IP66 polycarbonate lenses, solid steel construction, finished in tough epoxy resin, Powerbay protects against impact, wet and freezing temperatures for the long haul.

Thermal Stability

Extruded aluminium heatsinks and high-density LED arrays minimise thermal gain, delivering reliable performance across a wide ambient temperature range.

Vibration and Shock Protection

EPDM dampers and potted drivers protect the fixture against mechanical stress and preserve structural integrity even when exposed to vibration or unintentional impact.

Serviceable Electronics:

IP67 screw terminal connectors protect against moisture ingress and corrosion, while supporting the service and replacement of key components.

Chemical Resistance:

Narrow Beam Asymmetric Lenses

Whether lighting from extreme height or pushing light down between narrow spaces or aisles, our asymmetric lenses minimise fixture count and ensure optimum uniformity on both vertical and horizontal planes.

Warehouse Image:

PowerBay 5 (HE Chipset 2020) at 14m delivered highly uniform illumination to floor level in a narrow aisle, resulting in measurable reductions in missed picks for the customer, with improved productivity and safer operation.

AS-Lens 45º x 88º

The AS lens increases vertical push and luminaire spacing, suitable for general application including warehouse and high industrial applications at heights between 15-45m.

AC-Lens 33º x 94º

The AC lens intensifies vertical push, while maintaining a wide beam angle (C0/180) to support wider luminaire spacing, reducing installation and product costs.

Adaptive Optics

Rotational LED arrays with optional snap-in reflectors allow each fixture to be configured from narrow to wide beam angles using a standard lens package. This modular optical system enables on-site adjustment, placing light precisely where it is needed.

If aisle layouts change, are removed, or added to suit a new use, the optics can be reconfigured rather than replaced. This flexibility is essential given the long service life of the fixtures, allowing lighting performance to adapt as operational requirements evolve over time.

Standard Aisle or High Mount

Reflectors to all arrays, no rotation, narrowing the beam angle to push light down towards the floor.

Open Area General Application

Reflectors to the centre with 5º–25º rotation to the outer bars.

Wide Angle Low Mount Height

Outer arrays rotated 25º pushes light out to the side, reducing or increasing the angle to suit requirements.

UFO High-Bay : More lights, dark areas and glare.

Power Bay: Less lights, uniform illumination across the face of the racks.

Benefits of linear arrays

PowerBay’s large linear format distributes light across the full face of the aisle, from floor to upper racking, improving visibility while typically requiring up to 30% fewer luminaires.

Uniform light across the full aisle

Conventional UFO high bays concentrate light beneath each fitting, creating high glare and pronounced dark areas between luminaires across the upper rack faces. This makes loads and racking more difficult for forklift operators to see and work around safely.

PowerBay distributes light along the aisle and across the full height of the racking, providing more uniform illumination with less glare and fewer dark areas where they matter most.

Fewer luminaires. Multiple benefits.

More effective light distribution means fewer luminaires are required. In typical high-bay applications, PowerBay can reduce luminaire quantities by up to 30%, reducing installation costs and the number of fittings and drivers to maintain over the life of the installation.

Eliminating Lost Product in High-Pressure Cold Storage
Seeka operates high-throughput packing and cold-storage facilities for export kiwifruit, avocados, and soft fruit. During peak season, produce is moved rapidly from pre-chillers into storage using forklifts in tight aisles under intense time pressure. Dropped trays don’t just damage fruit — falling produce cascades into lower stacks, causing disruption, loss, and rework.
In 2014, Seeka asked Isollux to upgrade their cool store lighting with a focus on reducing stacking related losses. We specified Light Bay as a one-for-one replacement to minimise cost, and utilised the variable optics to orientate the outer LED arrays toward the rack faces from a central mounting position.
The Result:
With a wide light distribution and fixtures oriented away from forklift drivers’ direct line of sight, illumination levels were lifted to the top of the racks, significantly improving uniformity and light penetration deep into the stacks. Increased background illumination and optimised aiming eliminated glare and retinal flare improving safety and enhancing visibility of the rack face, resulting in a 95% reduction in dropped trays compared with the previous year.
