High ambient solution for food-processing and general industrial applications.

CMH extends the surface-mount PowerBay range into high-ambient industrial and food processing applications. Two standard lengths, up to five PowerBars and the full range of PowerBay optics provide a broad choice of configurations, with remote drivers protecting critical electronics and supporting long-term reliability.

Engineered for High-Ambient Performance

Standard models support continuous operation to +50°C with transient peaks to +70°C, with options to specify the LED light engine for continuous operation at +70°C. Switched, dimming and DALI controls are available across the range including D4i for remote health monitoring.

Power Options and Light Output

To achieve the required lux levels, specify three to five PowerBars, with luminaire length and output selected to suit the application from one of the standard options listed below. Where requirements exceed the limits indicated, the system can be extended to the full power rating of the larger fittings presented in the PowerBay section.

Adaptive Optics

PowerBay CMH’s adaptive optics and rotational arrays allow each fixture to be reconfigured as layouts, racking, or task requirements change, ensuring optimal performance is maintained as site needs evolve over the fitting’s extended service life.

Emergency Power Options

Choose from a 10–30 W auxiliary driver to reduce UPS load, or a DALI-controlled UPS system assigning selected luminaires to an emergency scene. UPS and DALI emergency systems require appropriately protected power and control circuits.

Serviceable Solution

With the driver remotely mounted and protected from ambient temperatures above +35ºC, typical driver replacement occurs at 100,000+ hours, helping optimise system service life to match the LED’s effective L80 lifetime. The LEDs are engineered for higher ambient temperatures; where the driver is exposed to these conditions, refer to the driver de-rating tables or discuss expected service life with our engineers.
